| If there's
one thing children know how to do well, it's have fun! To celebrate
everything that God's been doing at ignite so far this year, and to
look forward to everything He'll be doing in the future, we are going
to have a brilliant party to worship Him and celebrate together. There'll be games, singing, stories, activities and tasty party food afterwards when all the running around is done... It's free to come along, so why not invite all your friends and show them how friends of Jesus like to party! Invitations to hand out at school will be available from the ignite team in the weeks leading up to the event. |

| ignition LIFTOFF Away Day (and
Night!) |

| If you are
in School Years 4-6 you do not
want to miss this! We're taking members of the ignition LIFTOFF group
and their friends away for the night to Lambourne End Outdoor Centre to
do some great activities, enjoy a sleepover all together, and get some
great time to think about how no matter what, we can always rely on God. Full kit list and details will be provided once you've signed up. The cost for the whole experience is £25, which is an absolute bargain for everything you'll be getting. However, as always with ignite activities, if the cost is a problem, don't worry just let us know and we can offer a part or fully subsidised place. We never want someone not to take part in an ignite activity because of money! |

The best way to spend your Hallowe'en. For everyone in School Years R
to 6, for just £1 each climb aboard for a great evening of fun,
activities, leader-gunging and a chance to hear the story of someone
who stowed away on a ship and ended up inside a very big fish! Pirate themed fancy dress optional, but encouraged! Parrots and monkeys allowed... For Secondary School Aged Young People...

Mission & Pizza 2010 |

| A fantastic
day and night out for you and your mates! Less painful and more
exciting than paintballing, Laser Mission uses state of the art
technology to track you and your mates (and what your guns are doing!)
out in the woods near Gilwell Park as you play out various missions
against one another. After that, we'll be heading back to the ignite
centre together for pizza and then enjoying the centre's facilities for
the evening. You'll need to bring a change of clothes (the mission could get muddy!), all the toiletries you need (shower facilities are available at the centre), a towel and a torch. Full kit lists will be provided once you sign up... Places are strictly limited and going fast, so sign up now! The cost for the whole experience is £15, which is an absolute bargain for everything you'll be getting. is the teaching style that ignite uses at it's Children's Church group
called 'Blaze' for school years R to 4. Similiar to the teaching
methods used in Montessori schools, it allows children to experience
and unpack the stories that make up the Christian faith on their own
terms and in their own way. This is definitely not 'Sunday School' as
you know it! This is a chance for you to experience a Godly Play session and find out how you can incorporate elements of Godly Play into your home life... |

| ignite,
in partnership with other local youth and children's organisations, are
proud to be hosting a special Formal event on 2nd October 2010 - a
Charity Gala Dinner featuring a three course meal, an auction and a
live band/dance floor. It's going to be a fantastic evening in support
of voluntary sector projects that between them bless over a thousand
0-18 year olds across Epping Forest. Tickets cost only £40 per person, and we're offering the chance to buy a whole table of 10 for only £320.00 - that's two people free! During the evening, as well as excellent food and entertainment from a live band, you will have the opportunity to hear from some of the young people involved in the three projects themselves as they talk about the difference that's been made to their lives through the opportunities the various organisations have been able to offer them. |

"You are here to be light... God is not a secret to be kept."
A short note to explain our short quote...
This is something that a guy called Jesus from a place called Nazareth said, recorded in a book (sometimes called a 'gospel') about Him written by a guy called Matthew about 1900 years ago. Jesus spoke in a language called Aramaic, and Matthew wrote in a language called Hebrew, so it's been translated a bit since it was originally spoken. This translation of Jesus' words is recorded in a version of the Bible called "the Message". We think these words are *really* important; everything ignite does is about letting young people know that they are here to be lights shining in a dark world. It's pretty cool really to think that what one person said nearly 2000 years ago is still changing people's lives even today...
